understand that every client has unique needs. As an Investment Advisor,
my role is to help my clients make smart, well-informed decisions about
their investments - providing them with:

While
each of my clients is unique, they all have one thing in common: They
want unbiased investment advice from a knowledgeable professional. My
clients look to me to preserve their capital and help provide real growth
in their portfolios after tax and inflation. They have worked hard for
their money and look to me to guide them toward financial security in
retirement.

My relationship with my clients is enhanced with the development of a
comprehensive written financial plan aimed at achieving their long-term
financial goals. As part of this plan, we cover the investment, insurance,
tax and estate planning aspects of each client’s situation.

All of my clients receive a summary of performance regularly. The information
in this report is presented as clearly as possible. In addition, the format
of the report is reviewed with all clients at the outset of each relationship
to minimize confusion or misunderstanding about how to read the results.
In
addition, each of my client’s accounts is monitored on a continuing basis
to take advantage of opportunities created by changing circumstances.

I believe that my role is at the centre of a broader professional network.

To help you understand what you can expect, as a client, in terms of service
on a day-to-day basis, I have established the following standards:
- Response
time:
You can expect that any call made to my office before 4:00 p.m. will
be returned by me on the same day. Calls made after 4:00 may be returned
on the next business day.
- Problem
resolution:
While CIBC Wood Gundy and I endeavour to execute all business without
error, I assure my clients that any problems will be resolved within
three business days. If that is impossible, I will provide you with
a status report within that time frame.

I believe that my best client is the one who is fully informed. Every
three months, all clients receive a newsletter and telephone call to talk
about any questions or issues; in addition, occasional workshops are offered
to discuss market developments, featuring knowledgeable guest speakers.
When appropriate I will also point you to articles of specific relevance
to your situation. Finally, I maintain a library of some of the very best
books on personal finance, available for loan to all my clients.
